Are you a detail‑driven Architectural Technician with a passion for exceptional design and technical precision? Our client is expanding — and on the lookout for a talented Senior Architectural Technician to join their growing, collaborative, design‑led practice.
As a key member of their studio, you’ll help shape high-quality technical design solutions, guide junior team members, and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative projects.
🔎 What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will:
✨ Lead the production of accurate 2D & 3D technical information using AutoCAD and Revit
✨ Produce hand-drawn sketches and design solutions
✨ Coordinate drawing information and ensure accuracy across project outputs
✨ Mentor and support junior technicians and assistants
✨ Conduct QA reviews before issuing technical information
✨ Liaise with clients, consultants, planning authorities, and site teams
✨ Attend design and project meetings, producing documentation and site reports
✨ Prepare design proposals, material specifications, risk assessments & regulatory submissions
✨ Help shape project programmes, fee proposals, and documentation workflows
✨ Support continuous improvement within the practice, including software and systems development
🎯 What You Will Bring
We’re looking for someone who is:
âś” HNC/HND/Degree qualified and/or working toward chartership
âś” Highly skilled in technical design, detailing, and coordination
âś” Strong in design awareness with excellent visual communication skills
âś” Knowledgeable about statutory requirements, planning processes, and residential design standards
âś” A clear communicator, confident in liaising with clients and external teams
✔ Organised, reliable, proactive — and able to manage multiple projects at once
âś” A natural mentor who supports junior team members
âś” Enthusiastic about architecture, innovation, and continuous learning
