Location: Hybrid, Bradford (3 days a week, Tuesday–Thursday in the office).
Salary: £27,159 per annum.
Job type: Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday 9am‑5pm.
About The Role
We are looking for a caring, proactive, and detail-oriented People Services Administrator to join our friendly and dynamic People Team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inbox & Coordination: Manage the central People team mailbox, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses while coordinating queries across the team.
- Systems & Data: Keep HR systems up to date with accurate employee data, ensuring changes are processed efficiently and data integrity is maintained.
- Recruitment with Heart: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes using our ATS, ensuring every candidate has a smooth and positive experience.
- HR Queries: Be the go‑to person for HR queries – from salary changes and onboarding new starters to drafting letters and administering employee lifecycle events.
- Organisational Development Support: Administer organisational development initiatives, including coordinating training sessions, setting up programmes, and managing attendee communications and records.
- Finance & Administration Support: Support HR‑related finance processes, including raising purchase orders, tracking invoices, and ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Process Improver: Take ownership of tasks and suggest improvements to make our HR processes even better.
- Multitasking: Juggle a variety of tasks with grace and precision – no detail is too small!
- Problem Solver: Tackle challenges with a can‑do attitude and a customer‑first mindset.
Salary
The spot salary for the People Services Administrator post is £27,159 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. If you’re still developing some of the skills or experience, you can start at a salary 5% or 10% below the spot rate, with clear support and progression opportunities to reach the full amount.
About You
- Strong administrative and organisational skills within an HR/People environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, take ownership and manage a high volume of tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong experience of managing multiple query types and ability to seamlessly switch focus between different tasks quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Experience in providing customer‑focused service in a fast‑paced environment.
- Successful candidate will be required to undergo DBS and social media checks as part of our pre‑employment screening.
