Role Description
As a Children’s Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and care to children and young people in a residential setting.
In This Role You Will
* Develop nurturing relationships with our young people, focusing on their wellbeing and strengths.
* Encourage emotional and social development.
* Help implement and develop care plans and behavioural support strategies.
* Work closely with families and other professionals to provide holistic system support.
* Assist in the daily running of the home, including cooking and cleaning, to create a safe and welcoming environment.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records, uphold policies, ensuring compliance with care standards.
* Be a positive, caring, and reliable presence, promoting a safe and secure home for our young people.

To be a great fit for this role, you should
* Offer flexibility to work shifts, some weekends, bank holidays and commit to sleep ins (required).
* Have Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be committed to achieving it within a stipulated timeframe (preferred).
* Hold Residential Childcare experience (preferred).
* Drivers License (preferred).
* Possess an understanding of safeguarding procedures for vulnerable children & young people (preferred).
* Have the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

Schedule
10‑hour shift; 12‑hour shift; 8‑hour shift; Day shift; Night shift; Sleeps ins.
