About Us: We are looking for a skilled Tekla Draughtsman to join our team and contribute to exciting projects across various sectors.
Role Overview: As a Tekla Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate structural drawings using Tekla Structures software. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure the successful completion of projects. Your expertise will be crucial in transforming design concepts into practical and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Tekla Structures.
2. Generate fabrication and assembly drawings.
3. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
4. Collaborate with engineers and architects to resolve design issues.
5. Review and check drawings for accuracy and completeness.
6. Maintain project documentation and files.
7. Provide support and technical guidance to junior draughtsmen as needed.
Requirements:
1. 2-3 years of experience as a Tekla Draughtsman or similar role.
2. 2-3 years of experience with AutoCAD.
3. Strong background in steel structures.
4. Ability to conduct site surveys.
5. Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
6. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
7. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
10. Dedicated with a strong work ethic.
11. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
12. Flexibility to work overtime when required.
13. Valid driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in structural engineering or a related field.
2. Experience in the construction or steel fabrication industry.
Experience:
1. AutoCAD: 2 years (required)
