Description
Moore Kingston Smith is looking for an AML and Conflicts Administrator to join our growing Onboarding and AML team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who is interested in developing their knowledge of anti‑money laundering, client onboarding and conflict checks within a professional services environment.
You will play an important role in supporting our client take‑on procedures, helping to ensure that new and existing clients are onboarded accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements. Working closely with the AML team, the Conflict Check Analyst, managers and partners across the firm, you will keep key processes moving and provide support on a range of onboarding, AML and conflict‑related tasks.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the team with the administration of client onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes. This will include managing the AML inbox workflow, allocating client queries to the central team, supporting training administration with Learning & Development, and providing guidance to colleagues on client onboarding queries.
You will also help manage and track conflict check requests, chase outstanding information, support conflict checks for new clients and matters, and assist with corporate research using sources such as Companies House and Orbis. You will review conflict search results, flag potential issues and escalated matters where needed.
Alongside this, you will support with reporting PSC discrepancies, managing DBS processes required under BOOM regulations, filing and scanning client documents, and ensuring AML and conflict requirements are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working in an administrative role within a professional setting.
* Some experience in an accounting, professional services or regulated environment, although this is preferred rather than essential.
* A basic understanding of AML and conflict of interest regulations.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload effectively.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
* A degree or equivalent qualification would be beneficial, but is not essential.
Benefits
We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, with opportunities to learn, develop and build a varied career. You will be joining a friendly team where your contribution will help support an important part of the firm’s client onboarding and compliance processes.
We also offer a wide range of benefits, including hybrid working, 25 days’ annual leave plus three days off at Christmas, the option to buy or sell holiday, pension scheme, life cover, income protection, health cash plan, wellbeing support, professional subscriptions, Perkbox, cycle to work scheme, and access to a range of flexible benefits.
Inclusion
We are committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work. We welcome applications from people with different backgrounds, perspectives and experiences, and we are always looking for ways to continue listening, learning and improving.
