The Role of Greenkeeper: We have an opportunity for a Greenkeeper to join the team on a Fixed Term contract, to keep the hotel golf course at its best for our members and guests. The Greenkeeper will work under the direction of the Director of Golf & Leisure and will be responsible for ensuring well kept and cared for greens, well maintained bunkers, pathways and surrounding landscapes. The role of Greenkeeper is an opportunity for an individual who is passionate and knowledgeable about Golf, being outdoors and ensuring our Golf members and guests have a great experience. Job Overview: As Greenkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the overall condition of our golf course. Your role will involve caring for the greens, fairways, and bunkers to ensure they meet championship-level standards. You will work as part of a team to implement best practices in turf management, irrigation, and landscaping to provide an outstanding golfing experience Experience & Qualifications • Previous experience in golf course maintenance or a similar landscaping role. • A qualification in sports turf management or a related field is desirable. • Demonstratable knowledge of turf care, irrigation systems, and the use of golf course machinery. • Awareness of health and safety regulations.
