Finance Manager
Permanent contract | Full-time (37.5 hours per week) | Hybrid working
Salary: £39,319 per annum, increasing by annual increments to £44,279

We’re looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day financial operations of our growing charity. From statutory reporting and payroll to managing VAT and mentoring our team, this pivotal role offers the opportunity to drive real impact in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance and IT, supporting teams across the organisation to ensure accurate financial insight, strong controls, and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing
* Lead the finance team and manage day-to-day operations
* Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, payroll and VAT returns
* Support the wider team with budgeting, forecasting and project costing
* Provide financial insight and guidance across the organisation
* Improve processes and champion a culture of continuous improvement
* Work closely with senior leaders and external auditors
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar senior role
* Excellent accounting skills and attention to detail
* Experience working in a fast-paced finance environment
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and financial software
* A passion for improving systems and supporting team development
