Business Development Manager – Clifton
Basic Salary: £32,000
OTE: £38,000+
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 6:00pm (no weekends)
Location: Clifton, Bristol
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to join a successful and fast-moving lettings team based in Clifton, covering Clifton, City Centre, Henleaze and Westbury-on-Trym.
This role is ideal for someone with strong valuation and instruction-winning experience who is commercially sharp, thrives on results, and enjoys building long-term landlord relationships in a competitive market.
What You’ll Be Doing
o Winning new instructions through accurate rental valuations
o Driving new business and growing managed and let-only portfolios
o Building trusted, long-term relationships with landlords
o Negotiating offers and managing landlord and tenant queries professionally
o Taking ownership of day-to-day business performance within your area
o Implementing local strategies to increase market share and visibility
o Driving performance and supporting team growth
o Ensuring full compliance with lettings legislation, systems and processes
o Playing a key role in a high-energy, service-driven office culture
o Consistently meeting and exceeding agreed KPIs and targets
About You
o Confident, ambitious, and motivated by results
o Proven experience winning instructions through lettings valuations and negotiations
o Commercially astute with a strong eye for growth opportunities
o Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
o A proactive self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a team
o Excellent communicator with strong presentation and relationship-building skills
o Quick to adapt and comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive market
o Solid understanding of lettings legislation and compliance, or a genuine desire to develop expertise
