Overview
Sellick Partnership is delighted to be working with a London based Local Authority to source an interim Head of Commercial to line manage the Planning, Property, and Contracts teams whilst also having expertise in Planning Law. DMO experience is also desired but not mandatory.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled and welcoming legal team. As Head of Commercial you will be an integral part of a professional legal team delivering legal advice and support to all aspects of the Council's services.

Responsibilities
Line‑manage the Planning, Property, and Contracts teams; provide expertise in Planning Law; support delivery of legal advice and support across the Council’s services.
Qualifications
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with a current Practising Certificate and experience in a local government setting. Demonstrated strong leadership skills, confidence in managing difficult situations, a flexible approach to work, and strong client‑care skills. Ability to market the council’s services effectively and efficiently.
