Hygiene Shift Manager - 4 on 4 off days & nights Hygiene - Taiko Acton Contract: Full Time Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 Contracted Hours: 42 Established in 1997 as the first manufacturer of sushi for the UK supermarket industry, Taiko has evolved into the most innovative manufacturer of Sushi, Food To Go, Prepared Meals and Snacking products in the UK, supplying Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury’s to name a few. As the Hygiene Shift Manager, you will lead the Hygiene team during your shift, taking full ownership of hygiene operations across the site. You will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards in hygiene, food safety, and sanitation, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, customer standards, and legislation. Lead and develop the Hygiene Team to ensure completion of hygiene schedules to the highest standard. Maintain and improve hygiene, safety, environmental, and quality standards across the site. Support Engineering and Production with line setup, deep cleans, and maintenance. Review and enhance hygiene practices, procedures, and equipment to meet legal and customer requirements. Manage training, audits, documentation, and supplier liaison for cleaning chemicals and equipment. Communicate hygiene standards across departments and support cross-functional teams and audits. Ensure compliance with Quality, Health & Safety, and customer requirements; support the Head of Technical as needed.
