Senior Full Stack Engineer / Ruby On Rails / React / TypeScript
Location: Wallingford - Oxfordshire (Hybrid) - onsite once every 4-6 weeks

At Dexory, we are transforming the warehousing and logistics industry through data intelligence. You will play a key role in designing and building the customer-facing systems that are required to exchange data with customers, as well as those systems that support and control our robot fleet. This involves building reliable and modern web applications, leading the design and implementation of both backend and frontend systems, and working with a team of engineers and other stakeholders to define what needs to be built.
This position will play a vital role in Dexory’s ability to successfully deliver high quality solutions to customers around the world. Scaling environment, end to end ownership and impactful work from day one.
Working with hardware devices means we have an interesting and varied tech stack, but for web applications this is primarily Ruby on Rails for backend applications, with React with Typescript for frontend development.

Responsibilities / Skills
* Design, architecture, roadmap, and implementation of user-facing web applications
* Managing the web applications team to ensure a sustainable pace and high quality
* Working with product and commercial teams to define a technical roadmap
* Building with accessibility, compatibility, and performance in mind
* Design and documentation of systems for internal and external stakeholders
* Growing the web applications team as the customer base expands
* 6+ years of experience as a senior or lead-level engineer
* Familiarity with React and Typescript, as our primary front-end toolset
* Experience working with Ruby and Rails
* Experience working with relational databases, primarily PostgreSQL
* Experience working with a product team to define requirements
