South Coast Nursing Homes is an established and successful, family owned and managed care home company based in Worthing, West Sussex. We currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex. We have 414 beds having recently opened a brand-new Home in Central Worthing, named The Poets. Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours a day, for long and short-term stays. Blatchington Manor is a purpose-built specialist dementia care home in Seaford, providing specialist care for up to 43 residents.
We are seeking RGN or RMN with experience of working in a managerial or supervisory role, or an experienced Deputy Manager with NVQ Level 5; this person will need to be able to demonstrate leadership and mentoring skills.
As a Deputy Manager, you will help coordinate the day to day running of the home, alongside the manager. You will deliver effective clinical leadership and line management to the non-clinical teams in addition to assist with managing budgets and resources.
What The Home Requires In a Deputy Manager
* NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN or NVQ Level 5
* Experience of working as senior team member, specialising in dementia and nursing care for the elderly and frail.
* A strong leader, who is able to motivate, lead and support clinical and non-clinical staff
* Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of CQC essential standards and all legislation relevant to a nursing home
* Financially aware and able to support adherence to budgets
* Have a passion for delivering superior care and service.

* Salary of up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
