Overview
Learning Support Assistant (Additional Learning Needs), Term Time. You will support learners to enable them to make the most of their potential and any learning opportunities offered to them, and assist teaching staff in the academic, social and pastoral care of learners.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with a range of college tutors, both subject specialists and learning support specialists, and learners.
* Demonstrate initiative and work as part of a team.
* Participate in relevant staff training activities and develop the skills necessary to be effective in the role.

* Holiday Entitlement: 28 days leave per annum (01 September to 31 August); All normally observed public holidays, determined annually; Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually; Part Time contracts receive pro rata entitlement
* Term Time entitlement: Term Time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement paid as part of annual salary
* Working Pattern: 19.5 hours per week, 34 weeks per year (Term Time)
* Pension Rights: Local Government Pension Scheme
* Contract Type: Part Time Permanent

Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience supporting learners in an educational setting is desirable.
* Ability to work with diverse learners and support their academic and pastoral needs.
* Willingness to participate in training and development activities.
