Core Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery: Planning and facilitating high-quality D&T lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to lead A-Level Product Design or Fashion & Textiles for qualified candidates. Workshop Leadership: Providing expert instruction in the safe use of hand tools, machinery, and materials (woods, metals, and polymers), ensuring a rigorous culture of health and safety. CAD/CAM Innovation: Integrating modern technology into the design process, including 2D Design, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Fusion 360, alongside 3D printing and laser cutting. GCSE & A-Level Preparation: Guiding students through the Non-Exam Assessment (NEA) process, supporting them from initial design briefs and iterative prototyping to high-quality final manufactured products. Sustainable Design: Teaching students to consider the environmental impact of their work, focusing on the "6 Rs," material life cycles, and ethical manufacturing processes.
