Associate Surveyor
Associate Surveyor – Infrastructure Services - Doncaster (Hybrid) - Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours) – Part-time & flexible hours considered, minimum 30 hours - £50, + Benefits
The Job:
This position plays a key part within the Infrastructure Services division, supporting the delivery of projects from initial routing through to construction and completion. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of work and provide professional consultancy services relating to benchmarking, procedures and management systems.
Current projects include major high-voltage network upgrades, incorporating new substations and overhead lines that will significantly increase low-carbon energy capacity across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing infrastructure projects at local, regional and national scale
- Providing specialist land consultancy advice for maintenance works and new installations
- Advising clients on landowner engagement, access, rights and negotiations
- Supporting land referencing, statutory notice preparation, compensation negotiations and acquisition of rights
- Liaising with landowners and handling public enquiries
- Preparing accurate project reports and updates for clients
- Supporting wider business projects as required
- Contributing to the training and development of graduates within the team

The Candidate:
- MRICS or AssocRICS preferred
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent IT proficiency
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines
- Proven experience in building long-term client and landowner relationships
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
