Overview
Two PAs are required to work 2:1 with an active 9yr old boy.
He likes to go swimming and to go on the swings at the park. He likes soft play and going to Big Fun. He enjoys playing with sand, water and anything sensory. He enjoys physical activity and wants to be doing things rather than sitting still.
Responsibilities
* Take him out to appropriate locations that mum will identify and keep him busy and engaged.
* Supervise him at all times and keep him safe.
* Hold his hand or keep him on reins when outside the home as he has a tendency to run when he sees something he wants such as snacks.
* Use consistent messages; when told consistently he listens more.
* Support with personal care and accompany him to the toilet. Allows him to use the toilet unaided, but needs some support.
* Be fit and active.
Requirements
* Fit and active capability to support a 9-year-old in active environments.
* Satisfactory DBS check (cost covered by local authority).
