Overview:
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Data Manager to join a newly established Data Warehouse Development team at a rapidly growing Property & Casualty MGA. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines team management with technical expertise, offering the chance to shape the data function from the ground up.
**Must have insurance experience**
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a small team of Data Analysts
* Establish and evolve data analysis frameworks and best practices
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver actionable insights
* Remain hands-on with data analysis and reporting tasks
* Oversee the development and optimisation of ETL processes and data pipelines
* Drive the development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and reports
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience managing or leading Data Analysts
* Strong background in the insurance sector, ideally within Property & Casualty
* Solid experience with SQL, ETL processes, and Power BI
* Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can influence and shape the data strategy
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
