A major UK organisation with multiple business divisions is seeking an Interim Reconciliations Accountant to support a high-profile simplification and transformation programme within their Record-to-Report function. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role suited to someone who enjoys untangling complexity, improving processes, and collaborating across a wide finance landscape.
What you'll be doing:
You'll play a key role in cleansing and restructuring critical RTR data, ensuring complete alignment with new legal entity structures and enhanced control frameworks. Working closely with BAU teams, continuous improvement specialists and a systems implementation project, you'll help prepare the business for a new reconciliation platform.
Your work will include:
1. Identifying and correcting data integrity issues across multiple divisions
2. Reworking balance sheet reconciliations into a new legal entity format
3. Investigating, documenting, and clearing immaterial reconciling items
