Love helping children thrive? You’re just who we’re looking for.
One of our welcoming mainstream primary schools in Southwark is on the lookout for a brilliant SEN Teaching Assistant. You’ll be supporting a pupil with additional needs—someone who’ll benefit from your calm approach, positive energy, and ability to make school feel safe and achievable.
This is the kind of role where small wins mean everything—and you’ll be part of making those happen every single day.
-----------------------------------
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 support for a child with SEND (autism, SEMH, or communication needs)
* Helping them engage in class activities and build confidence
* Working closely with the teacher and SENCO to tailor support
* Creating a calm, structured environment for learning and growth
-----------------------------------
You’ll fit right in if you:
* Have experience supporting children with SEND in any setting
* Bring a positive, adaptable approach (and maybe a bit of patience magic)
* Can commit to a full-time, term-time role in Southwark
* Know how to build trust and bring out the best in every child
-----------------------------------
Why work with Protocol Education?
