💕 About the Role
We’re looking for a Female Support Worker to join our friendly team and support two wonderful young ladies who share their own home in the Juniper Green area of Edinburgh.
These ladies have faced challenges due to learning disabilities and Autism, but they don’t let that stop them from living life to the fullest! 🎭🎶🛍️🏊♀️✈️
They love theatre trips, music and dancing, clothes shopping, holidays, swimming — and they’re always excited to try something new. If you’re creative, energetic, and up for a challenge, they’d love to meet you!
🌈 What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be part of a diverse, supportive team helping the ladies live happy, safe, and fulfilling lives. Your role may include:
4. 💊 Supporting with medication
5. 🍳 Cooking and meal preparation
6. 🧼 Assisting with personal care
7. 🏡 Helping maintain their home
8. 💷 Supporting with finances
🕒 Shift Patterns
We provide support 24/7, so flexibility is key. Shifts typically include:
9. 9am – 11pm, followed by a sleepover, then working until 2pm the next day
10. 9am – 4pm
11. 2pm – 10pm
Sleepovers are part of the role, and weekend availability is required for 1-2 weekends per month.
