Operations Coordinator | Brighto | Fixed Term Contract till December 2025

Hours: 45 hours

Salary: £28,992

CitySprint aims to be the UK's leading courier service provider, focusing on innovation and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a dedicated Operations Coordinator to support our growth and service excellence.

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive individual who can coordinate team efforts to ensure efficient operations, excellent customer service, and positive relationships with drivers and customers. The Operations Coordinator will support the Service Centre Manager and Operations Manager in delivering timely collections and deliveries, managing relationships, and maintaining our reputation.

Main Responsibilities

* Answer phone lines professionally and promptly.
* Manage communications related to driver workload efficiently.
* Track bookings and consignments.
* Coordinate with Operations and Imports departments to meet SLA transit times.
* Provide updates to customers on exceptions or issues.
* Request and record PODs from agents.
* Report discrepancies to managers.
* Provide quotes to customers when requested.
* Monitor Service Centre emails.
* Collaborate with suppliers to ensure high-quality customer experience.

Candidate Requirements

* Experience in dispatching vehicles or vehicle allocation.
* Respectful and professional demeanor.
* Prompt and effective communication with customers and suppliers.
* Ensure timely collection and delivery of jobs.
* Handle operational queries efficiently and inform clients of outcomes.
* Proactively suggest service improvements.
* Excellent listening and empathy skills.
* Ability to work independently and motivate oneself.

The successful candidate will undergo a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Conditional offers are subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
