Your main responsibilities may include: · To remain locked and access-controlled by a member of staff during the school day. · Gates to be opened at key times (start of day, break, lunch, and end of day) to accommodate pupil movements. · To remain locked and access-controlled by a member of staff during the school day. · Gates to be opened at key times (start of day, break, lunch, and end of day) to allow staff entry/exit. · Staff member to manage access for visitors, staff, or pupils as required · A secure perimeter fence should reduce pressure on pupils to use fire exits inappropriately. · Staff to investigate immediately if alarms are triggered. · Having a staff presence to monitor fire doors would support SLT in returning pupils to class promptly · Member of staff to patrol corridors and support staff in returning pupils to classrooms or to Pupil Support Leaders/SLT. · Regular toilet checks to deter vandalism and truancy To succeed in this role, you will need the following: SIA License. 5-year checkable work/career history. Experience in a similar role, would an advantage Physically fit to undertake given tasks. Possess the ability to work under pressure.
