About the Role
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Panel Wirer to join a modern electrical manufacturing workshop in Totton, Southampton.
This role is ideal for someone with an Electrical and Electronic Engineering qualification (T:Level or BTEC Level 3) who is looking to begin a hands:on career in panel wiring and electrical assembly.
Role Overview
You will receive full training in the assembly and wiring of electrical control and metering panels, working from technical drawings and electrical schematics in a workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
:Assist with the mechanical and electrical assembly of control panels
:Wire panels using electrical schematics and technical drawings
:Drill, cut, and fit components using hand and power tools
:Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) procedures
:Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeepingWhat We're Looking For
Essential:
:T:Level (Level 3) Electrical and Electronic Engineering or
:BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Engineering (Electrical and Electronic pathway)
:Basic understanding of electrical schematics
:Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
:Reliable, motivated, and a strong team player
Desirable:
:1+ year experience in electrical assembly or panel wiring
