Finance Assistant Job Overview
Confident Finance Assistant or Account Assistant required to support the finance team in the position of Finance Assistant with all aspects of daily duties, ensuring the efficient running of the department in line with month end and reporting deadlines.
The role will include Accounts Payable and Account Receivable, as well as assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts. Previous experience of using Sage is preferred.
The role is office-based Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Finance Assistant Job Requirements
Assisting with billing from the operating system and inputting/uploading of sales invoices into Sage with correct nominal code allocation
Processing of purchase invoices into Sage
Processing of supplier payments
Allocation of supplier and customer receipts
Monthly reconciliations between operating systems, including bank statements, debtors and creditor listings
GCSE - Minimum A-C Grade in Maths and English or equivalent
Must be able to work independently and as part of a larger team with a flexible can do attitude
Good Excel skills
2 years' experience in similar finance role

Salary £28,000k-£30,000k
