The Operational Care Specialist will be part of a team within the Operational Care Centre (OCC) responsible for the timely processing of tasks through Business Process Automation (BPA) which include the correct linking of sales quotation to the shipments and accurate costing and GP. The Operational Care Specialist is responsible for managing the coordination of customer shipments and the accurate and timely update of key milestones into the operational system and liaising with the Customer Care Specialist within the Customer Care Locations (CCL).
How you create impact Prepare shipment files ready for Import validating consignee and shipment data to requirements
Create customs clearance instruction for Import cargo identifying missing customer information and sourcing from Customer Care Locations
Completion of detailed excel worksheets analysing commercial documentation to support Customs department
Maximise gross profit on every shipment by ensuringtimely completion of tasks with effective escalation
Investigate and resolve where possible, schedule changes and non-chronological routing issues and missing references and statuses and notify the respective parties in case of issues
Maintain ticketing system requests within set Key Metrics ensuring customer service mentality
Immediately report problems, operationaldisputes or discrepancies to your team leader
Monitor operational performance of carriers and other vendors and escalate / create awareness if performance and commitments are not being delivered
