Social Worker – Blue Care – Ipswich Community Care

* Employment Term: Full-Time
* Location: Ipswich Community and Surrounds
* Remuneration: $42.15 – $59.04 per hour (dependent on experience) + 12% Super + Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances
* Annual Leave: 5 weeks


Your part in our BlueCare team

We’re inviting applications from energetic, passionate and highly capable Social Workers to join our team. You will provide our clients with social worker services, including specialist advice and clinical services to improve their quality of life and well‑being. This includes developing and implementing treatment & intervention programs, case management, clinical counselling, debriefing following critical events and education & support for clients and carers. We encourage our team to be creative and enjoy themselves while contributing to our success.


What makes a difference for us?

You’ll have a genuine passion for supporting people with a desire to lead exceptional outcomes for your clients. Previous experience in a health or aged care context is highly desirable.

* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work
* Registration with a relevant professional body – Australian Association of Social Workers
* Previous experience within an aged care or acute setting (desirable)
* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
* Experience with technology (incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
* Current Australian driver’s licence and roadworthy registered vehicle
