As a Support Worker, you will work with a dedicated team to provide care and support to our clients. Your role is crucial in creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for their positive development. Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing emotional and social support: Building meaningful relationships with clients and encouraging their interaction with peers and adults within the community.
2. Enhancing self-esteem and respect: Helping each client in your care develop a positive self-image and ensuring they feel respected and valued.
3. Promoting positive life choices and independence: Supporting clients in making positive decisions and achieving levels of independence appropriate to their age and abilities.
4. Accurate and detailed recording: Maintaining meticulous records of events, observations, progress, safeguarding, and child protection matters, and health and safety checks.
5. Care planning and assessment: Collaborating with the manager and other professionals to create, implement, and review individual care plans based on the individual needs.
6. Interdisciplinary collaboration: Working closely with the health advisor, social workers, therapists, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for everyone.
7. Involvement with families: Facilitating supervised contacts with the clients' families and support networks.

Excellent rates of pay with £14.00 to £14.50 per hour, with weekly pay days + holidays + pension! This equates to a rolled-up hourly rate of £16.16 - £16.74!
