An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Neighbourhood Manager to join a leading UK Housing Association in Oxford, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality housing services and building safe, sustainable, and thriving communities. This is a hybrid position offering a varied and rewarding workload with direct resident impact.
THE ROLE
As a Neighbourhood Manager, you will act as the face of the organisation within the community, delivering a proactive, customer-focused housing management service while ensuring compliance, safety, and resident wellbeing across a mixed-tenure portfolio.
Deliver effective neighbourhood and tenancy management services across residential properties
Carry out estate, scheme, and block inspections to ensure high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness
Manage anti-social behaviour (ASB), noise complaints, tenancy breaches, and complex resident cases
Support and safeguard vulnerable residents, working alongside support services and partner agencies
Liaise with internal departments and contractors to resolve maintenance and building safety issues
Maintain accurate records, case notes, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
Attend court hearings, case conferences, and multi-agency meetings when required
Build strong relationships with residents, encouraging engagement and community involvement
Monitor service performance and contribute to continuous service improvement initiativesTHE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have experience working in housing, neighbourhood management, or a similar customer-facing environment, with strong case management and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience handling tenancy management, ASB, or housing-related casework
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and diverse caseload
Ability to work independently and use initiative in a fast-paced environment
Confident in dealing with challenging situations and resolving conflict effectively
Good understanding of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable individuals
IT literate with experience using housing management or CRM systems
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essentialTHE CONTRACT
WORKING HOURS: 37 hours full time
LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 3 Month Fixed-Term Contract
RATE: £17,500 per year, plus benefits
SALARY: £35,000 Full Time Equivalent
