An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Vascular Department to join the admin team as an Assistant Patient Pathway Co‑ordinator for the Vascular Network. This is a great opportunity for someone with administration skills to take the next step with their development.
Role Details
Our admin team covers the Vascular Network for Bristol, Bath and Weston but is based at North Bristol NHS Trust, Southmead Hospital. The role will be based at Southmead Hospital 30 hours per week.
The Vascular Patient Pathway Assistant role is to support the Patient Pathway Coordinator in working as part of a clinical team ensuring that patients are admitted efficiently for investigative treatments, diagnostic procedures and inpatient and day‑case operations within national guidelines and in accordance with the trust's Patients Access Policy. This includes:
* NHS Constitution
* waiting time standards
* Department of Health admission guidelines and booking rules

Working Conditions
The role is for an assistant patient pathway co‑ordinator working 30 hours per week across Monday‑Friday. The role is based at Southmead Hospital and covers the Vascular Network across Bristol, Bath, Weston and UHBristol. Previous applicants may not need to apply.
Success Criteria
The successful applicant(s) will normally commence at the minimum of the scale unless they have previous NHS service at the same band. Progression through the scale is by annual increments.
