Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated fire and security engineer to join our growing team of engineers working primarily across the North of England locations include Yorkshire, Deeside and Lincolnshire.
Responsibilities
* Installation, reactive and preventative maintenance on fire and security systems.
* Knowledge of industry standards.
* Take part in local on call rota, currently 1 in 3.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware and networking equipment.
* Read and interpret specifications, layout drawings and schematics for effective system installation and troubleshooting.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security technologies and best practices.
* Provide training and support to staff on security protocols and system usage.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a Security Engineer role or similar position.
* Strong understanding of computer networking principles and practices.
* Familiarity with power tools and electrical systems is advantageous.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills and adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Relevant certifications and experience of enterprise level security systems are preferred but not essential. ZE Global are a certified partner of Lenel, Genetec, Milestone and Gallagher systems.
* Fire system or PAVA experience would be desirable.
* A proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies within the security field.
* Proficient in MS office range of products.
Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
Travel allowance paid monthly
Full UK Driving Licence.
