£525 - £550 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
This First School in Morpeth (NE61) is currently looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work on a full-time basis from June 2026. The HLTA who is successfully appointed for the role will be based in Year 4 at school, covering PPA sessions as well as leading small groups for intervention. The role will run for the remainder of the academic year, then could continue into September too. This is a ‘Good’ Primary school, where staff foster a love of learning and where children feel happy and supported coming to school.
Requirements
The desired HLTA will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
