About The Location: Cheltenham is made up of many unique districts with Regency architecture and manicured gardens. The hotel is in the chic Montpellier district, close to The Promenade. The location offers 49 bedrooms, a 120-seat Bistro & Bar, and 3 private event spaces (seating up to 50).
About The Role
Night Porter, Hotel du Vin
Rate of Pay: £12.75 / 24 Hours per week

Responsibilities
The Night Porter is instrumental in overseeing the running of the hotel from sundown to sunrise. This is a hands-on role managing guest expectations and ensuring the standards of the brand are maintained. As guests sleep, the Nights team keep everything running like clockwork. Your responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the Food & Beverage Department of the hotel during the night
* Welcoming guests in a friendly and helpful manner
* Keeping public areas immaculate and preparing meeting and event spaces for the next day
* Assisting guests with luggage and handling enquiries
* Carrying out nightly Health and Safety audits
* Maintaining organisation and effective communication
Experience of working in a similar role is beneficial and experience of night shift work is essential.

Working Arrangements
We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and can offer flexibility. Shift patterns and contracted hours can be discussed at interview. We are busier during evenings and weekends.
Training and Career Progression
We offer nationally recognised apprenticeships alongside detailed brand training. Successful candidates can progress to Night Supervisory or Assistant Night Management roles.
