Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting experienced and trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. The role involves working in children’s residential homes and independent living settings. We seek flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals eager to work in a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs. The goal is to create an environment that caters to their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. Candidates should have the confidence, patience, and skill set to positively impact their lives.
Support tasks include assisting with meals, cleaning, education, shopping, and interacting with professionals such as social workers, probation officers, and police officers. You will also support young people in environments like classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will drive the unit car to destinations such as family contacts, schools, and social activities.
