Housekeeping Lead Snow Mountain, LLC is located in the spectacular Lassen Volcanic National Park in California. As one of the country's oldest national parks, Lassen offers gorgeous hiking trails, picturesque lakes that afford fishing and kayaking, and cabins and campgrounds for the those that want to experience the rustic feel of the beautiful outdoors! Season: May 18, 2026 to Mid-October 2026 (depending on weather). Summary of Position: Assist with the management of the housekeeping and public areas department ensuring outstanding service for resort guests Responsibilities EPartner with Location Manager to ensure time and attendance records are submitted in a timely manner. Supervision and Coordination: The lead housekeeper supervises the housekeeping staff, coordinating daily operations and assigning specific cleaning duties to ensure efficient coverage of all areas. Training and Development: They are responsible for training new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and the use of cleaning chemicals, ensuring that all team members adhere to established standards. Quality Control: The lead housekeeper inspects rooms and common areas for cleanliness and proper setup, addressing any issues or deficiencies immediately to maintain high standards of service. Inventory Management: They manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained. Guest Relations: Handling guest complaints related to housekeeping services or room conditions is a critical responsibility. The lead housekeeper takes immediate action to resolve issues to the guest’s satisfaction. Collaboration with Other Departments: The lead housekeeper coordinates with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk staff, to ensure seamless operations and address any maintenance issues promptly. Position Requirements: Excellent customer service and people skills Ability be able to assist in the supervision of employees Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests in stressful, high pressure situations Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. Education and Experience: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience: Minimum of 2 (two) years in the hospitality industry required Minimum of 2 (two) years management experience required Resort/National Park experience preferred Rental housing available, double occupancy.
