CrossReach Children's Disability Services has been dedicated to supporting children and young people with disabilities and additional needs for 30 years. We are now seeking a Senior Children’s Worker to join our team and help us enhance our services and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we support.
Our residential short breaks service, The Mallard, provides a home-away-from-home experience for children and young people. Here, they can engage in various activities, build friendships, and develop independence. Activities include movie nights, garden games, and tailored sensory environments, all designed to meet individual needs in collaboration with families.
As a Senior Children’s Worker, you will lead the team in delivering tailored care and support, planning and implementing activities aligned with the needs and aspirations of the young people. This role offers the rewarding opportunity to see the positive effects of your work daily.
Qualifications required include HNC level and SVQ3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People), or a commitment to gaining these. Experience with medication administration and team coaching/support in this area is beneficial.
We offer a range of benefits, including retail and leisure discounts, a contributory pension plan, death in service benefit, family-friendly policies, health cash plans, and support services. We also support your professional development through membership fee contributions and training opportunities.

This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
