An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Property Development Solicitor to join my clients team in their Reading, Berkshire offices on a hybrid basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join my clients Development & House Building team. You will be assisting fee earners on transactional matters and working collaboratively on a variety of development related transactions. Role & Responsibilities: • Supporting fee earners with drafting option agreements, deeds, and contracts. • Undertaking due diligence and preparing reports. • Assisting with acquisitions and disposals of development land, plot sales, planning, and construction matters. • Supporting secured acquisition and development finance transactions. • Learning about and contributing to processes and documents for plot sales.• Training seminars and workshop programmes for employer clients. • Communicating with team members, clients, and third parties involved in transactions. • Developing knowledge of the planning system and its implications for development transactions. • Participating in business development activities and building relationships within the development community. • Identifying risks and concerns, and proposing practical and commercial solutions.
