We are currently looking for a Logistics/ Transport Administrator on behalf of our Client to assist in managing communication between wider Transport Teams and their Customer-base.
Duties
1. Monitoring and tracking inbound shipments whilst maintaining a seamless quality of communication with Customers in updating them with any changes to scheduled shipments & deliveries
2. Maintaining strong communication with wider Freight and Transit Teams in avoiding any delays to the shipment of orders and ensuring the smooth running of the business
3. To accurately record and document any Client claims/ complaints/ requests and escalate to Management when needed via CRM System
4. Ensure that commercial invoices have required customs information
5. Liaising with 3rd Party Brokers in submitting any clearances for transport
6. Reporting to the CEO and Station Manager regarding any additional tasks requested when needed
Requirements
7. Previous experience from within Customer/ Client-Facing role – Essential
8. Confident adapting to internal systems and software – Required
9. Proficient in using Excel and data input – Essential
10. Experience with Freight Management Systems – Beneficial
