When you become part of our tax team, you’ll discover a culture celebrating individuality, fresh thinking, flexibility and collaboration, whilst not only embracing change but impacting it. We work with owner managed businesses, private equity backed enterprises and global companies, managing their tax affairs both on the compliance side and in relation to additional advisory matters. Our transactions tax specialists provide a variety of services, such as tax due diligence reviews (buy-side and sell-side), advice relating to private equity and similar structures, vendor assistance, and management tax planning.

You will handle high-responsibility projects across various industries, offering interesting and challenging work.
Operating closely with our corporate finance department and utilizing RSM's international network, you will be at the forefront of Transactions Tax advisory work. The primary office location for this role is flexible, with a preference for Birmingham.
You’ll make an impact by:
* Managing a variety of M&A tax projects.
* Providing tax structuring advice before and after transactions to optimize tax efficiency for clients.
* Writing technical descriptions of client projects for reports.
* Supporting strategic targeting and business development, especially in private equity, in collaboration with the Transactions Tax Partner.
* Being a strong people manager and actively involved in training and career development through coaching, formal training, and performance discussions.
* Researching and preparing proposals for new work and participating in presentations to prospective clients.

* Have excellent knowledge of Transactions Tax, either as a specialist or a Corporate Tax professional.
* Have proven client handling and project management skills, with strong relationship-building abilities.
* Have business development experience or interest.
* Embrace an inclusive approach to team development, providing opportunities and managing performance actively and supportively.
What we can offer you:
We recognize our people are our greatest asset. We offer a flexible rewards and benefits package to support your fulfillment both professionally and personally.
* 27 days holiday (with options to purchase additional days).
* Lifestyle, health, and wellbeing benefits, including financial tools, electric car schemes, and access to virtual GPs.
* Access to over 300 on-demand courses developed by our talent development team.
