This is a crucial role responsible for initiating the sales cycle and building a strong foundation for our continued success.
As a Business Development Executive, your primary focus will be on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities and effectively managing the initial customer relationship.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Prospect for potential customers and actively create new business opportunities.
* Attain authorisation of bills and necessary approval from customers to move the sales process forward.
* Overcome customer objections, transforming challenges into genuine sales opportunities.
* Ensure all customer information is accurate and compliance-adherent in every interaction.
* Always maintain a professional and positive representation of our business.
* Collaborate efficiently with a Senior Closing Specialist to ensure all generated leads are properly handled and progressed.
* Respond professionally and promptly to all email and telephone enquiries.
* Capitalise on sales opportunities to meet and surpass challenging targets and KPIs.
* Manage your client base effectively to foster long-term relationships.
* Build and sustain a robust customer pipeline to ensure continuous deal flow.
* Attend all necessary training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Skills Required
We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and demonstrate the following essential skills:
* Possess strong team participation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage one's own workload.
* Confident to approach customers on an outbound basis and initiate contact.
* Display competence in identifying and qualifying business opportunities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent customer service abilities focused on creating a positive customer experience.
* Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills and ability to manage CRM/databases.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to balance prospecting, follow-ups, and administration.

* Commitment to punctuality and a professional appearance.
Experience & Qualifications
* Previous telesales experience (B2B or B2C) is required.
* Minimum of 6 months of telesales experience (B2B or B2C).
* Ability to work effectively under pressure to consistently achieve set targets and KPIs.
* Proficiency with I.T systems relevant to a sales environment.
* Demonstrated experience in a target-driven environment.
