We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable independent garage in Bromsgrove, for the position of MOT Tester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and professional MOT Tester looking to join a well-established team in a modern workshop environment. As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicle safety standards are met through accurate testing and supporting the workshop team with general servicing and light repairs as needed.

Competitive salary circa £40,000 per annum depending on experience
Monday to Friday working schedule, with no weekends
28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays

Conduct Class 4 MOT tests adhering to DVSA standards and regulations
Complete MOT documentation accurately and in compliance with legal requirements
Identify, report, and communicate vehicle defects clearly and professionally
Support the workshop with light servicing and repair work when necessary
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer serviceRequirements:
Valid MOT Tester licence (essential)
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
Proven experience as an MOT Tester within an independent garage or similar workshop
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good team player with a positive attitude
