Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inpatient dietetic care across medical, surgical, orthopaedic, oncology, and stroke services.
- Provide dietetic support in outpatient clinics covering a range of clinical areas including nutrition support, enteral feeding, and gastroenterology.
- Gain exposure to paediatrics and other specialist dietetic areas where appropriate.
- Collaborate as part of a site‑based team, with support from experienced dietitians, and may travel to other Trust sites such as Furness General Hospital, Westmorland General Hospital, community premises, and outpatient clinics.
- Support training of student dietitians, contributing to the department’s approved training programme.
Qualifications & Requirements
- HCPC registered dietitian.
- Willingness to work across multiple hospital sites within the Trust.
Location & Facilities
The role is based primarily at Royal Lancaster Infirmary, with potential work at Furness General Hospital, Westmorland General Hospital, and community healthcare settings across Morecambe Bay. The Trust provides modern IT facilities and a focus on personal development and training.
