Sales Manager (Maternity Cover), Hinckley
Leonardo Hotels is seeking a Sales Manager to join our Management Team on a maternity cover basis.
You will be a key member of the Proactive Sales Team, delivering excellent service to our customers in the Sales Department. Previous experience in the M&E industry in a similar role is required.
* Develop understanding of local hotel markets, competitor activity, and rates to increase revenue through targeted sales activities for Local and National Accounts.
* Maintain and grow revenue and market share by developing a network of contacts and cross-selling within the group.
* Build and sustain strong client relationships.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profits.
* Host corporate nights to reward clients and generate new leads.
* Utilize reports to identify new local corporate opportunities.
* Forecast and monitor key account metrics such as monthly sales results and forecasts.
* Produce timely reports for management.
* Implement and review the hotel’s sales plan as needed.
* Manage a portfolio of local and territory accounts.
* Use data and market research for telesales and campaigns.
* Support conversion of key Group and M&E inquiries.
* Attract new M&E business inquiries.
* Attend industry events and client meetings.
* Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of target accounts.
* Ensure CRM system usage meets standards.
