What the role involves
* Leading a team that provides a brilliant shopping experience for customers.
* Working on the shop floor, coordinating activity behind the scenes; no two days are the same.
* Designing the layout and environment to connect customers with the cause.
* Being responsible for achieving financial targets and inducting, training, and managing new staff and volunteers.
* Representing the British Red Cross to a high standard and embodying core values.
What you’ll need
* Retail experience at supervisory level with outstanding customer service and comfortable handling organisational and cash duties.
* Proven management skills to develop and inspire your team.
* Target-driven with initiative to achieve results.
* Proficient with IT and PC use.
* Commitment to the British Red Cross cause and ability to promote the shop in the community as the charity retailer of choice.
