Full-time: 37.5 hours per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Healthcare Assistants in Outpatients. The role involves working alongside nursing staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality and effective nursing care.
We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, compassionate, flexible, and creative. If you have excellent communication and time management skills and a passion for high standards of patient care, we would love to meet you.
We offer in-house induction and support, with flexible working options to meet service needs.
The post holder will be required to undertake the Care Certificate and MKUH standards within the first 12 weeks of employment.

Job description & responsibilities
Assist in the induction of new staff, demonstrating duties and leading by example to ensure safe, effective care.
Support daily supervision of Healthcare Assistants and assess their competency and care certificates.
Organize your workload, adjusting priorities as needed based on ward activity.
Communicate with patients regarding their conditions with tact, empathy, and sensitivity, considering any barriers to understanding.
