In our service we support young people (aged 0-14 years) who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties. We have enthusiastic and skilled staff who provide the support that is needed - and they are motivated to make a real difference to young people, their families and carers. Additionally, we are making a number of positive changes to the service; seeing waiting‑lists drop and taking opportunities to think innovatively about our practice. About the team
We're really excited to offer an opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to work in our diverse multi‑disciplinary team (MDT). If successful you will be a leader within the team; providing support and inspiring your staff. You will also provide skilled clinical interventions to 0‑14 year‑olds; making a real difference to the lives of young people in Norfolk.
Responsibilities
* Deliver clinical interventions.
* Work as a non‑medical prescriber.
* Offer support, supervision and informal training to your colleagues.
* Contribute to multi‑disciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
* Undertake other clinical tasks within the team.
* Deputise for the Community Team Manager on occasion.
Qualifications & Experience
You will have a nursing qualification, trained as a non‑medical prescriber, and will have developed their skills through extensive experience in mental health.
