The key purpose of these career graded posts is to support the Business Support Officer and other senior managers to ensure that Finance, Administration, Technical Support, and Customer Relations, across Highways Network Management.
Specifically, these posts will focus on assisting the Business Support Officer, with the day to day running and monitoring of the provision of organisational support to the service by the Technical Support Team at Wakefield One. Providing performance information, using Routine Maintenance System and data collection spreadsheets, collating, inputting & providing financial data using the Councils Agresso finance package, dealing with Enforcement, Arbour, Delivery Team and Depot.
In addition, using the Councils Customer Relation’s Management system ensuring that contact which is deemed as correspondence is monitored and receives the appropriate response within a given timescale.
The post holders may be required to represent the service regarding financial, performance and customer relations, guiding subsequent actions by the service to the team. Assist in providing advice and guidance on established internal policy/legislation. Assisting in the implementation of identified service improvements/performance within Highways Network Management.
As such the post holders will be within Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3, with progression between grades subject to review of performance.
