Summary
Salary – Grade 5 SCP £25,989 - £28,142)
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.
Role Details – From 22.2 hours per week up to full time for the right candidate. Term time plus 5 days
Required – As soon as possible, subject to notice periods.

Role Specific:
* Be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of resources, whilst ensuring that all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
* Design, prepare and maintain specialist equipment /resources as required by staff/curriculum/ lesson plans, and assist others in their use including within lessons.
* Be responsible and ensure the creation and maintenance of a clean and orderly working environment.
* Be responsible for keeping and updating records as agreed with Head of Curriculum and subject teachers
* Promote and ensure the Health and Safety, and good behaviour of students at all times.
* Assist in the development of lesson/work plans, administration of coursework, worksheets etc.
* Operate the relevant equipment, including in a safe and appropriate manner.
* Ensure orderly and secure storage of relevant equipment and premises at all times.
* Be responsible for the provision/ ordering of stock and equipment.
* Ensure correct and up to date stock lists of equipment and materials. In addition, supervision of the requisite Health and Safety checks.
* Checking for damage and vandalism on a daily basis undertaking relevant repairs or arranging for attention as required.
* To develop positive relationships with students and staff to assist student progress and attainment.
* To assist in student supervision and the management of behaviour, and in providing a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment for learning.
* To undertake classroom administrative tasks including the maintenance of records.
* Administer tests and assist in the invigilation of exams.
