Due to continued growth we have a great opportunity for a Software Support Technician to join our team. This role involves minimising service disruption by providing support and maintenance of cloud-based services, and Windows Desktop Application based services, supporting systems through the ownership and resolution of Tickets. • Respond to logged and escalated tickets including the acceptance and investigation through to work around or resolution, always keeping the customer informed of progress. • Investigate, analyse and problem solve problems using SQL and other diagnostic tools and methodologies. • Conduct root cause analysis on identified problems and investigate potential permanent fixes. • Provide input to knowledge base documentation based on support ticket trends and issues. • Make recommendations for best practice changes. • Carrying out remote software installations, system upgrades and training remotely. Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to: • Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage. • Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components. • Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance. • Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards. • Support the information systems needs for your business. The opportunity may offer a permanent role upon completion of the apprenticeship depending on performance and availability. • Hybrid working with 2 days per week work from home (on completion of training and probation) • Alternate half working day on Fridays
