Whether administering medication, providing palliative care or simply offering a reassuring word, you'll play a central role in creating a safe, homely and nurturing environment.What you'll be doing:
* Providing high-quality nursing care that promotes independence and wellbeing
* Administering prescribed medication and treatments safely and accurately
* Supporting residents and families through open, compassionate communication
* Contributing to the development and review of personalised care plans
* Encouraging resident and family participation in planning and delivery of care
* Assisting with end-of-life care, ensuring dignity, comfort, and sensitivity
* Maintaining clear documentation and upholding regulatory compliance
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and supporting care colleagues on shift
A valid NMC PIN as a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)
* A caring, calm and professional manner with excellent communication skills
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
* A flexible, positive attitude with a proactive approach to resident care
* Experience in care home nursing is desirable, but newly qualified nurses are also welcomed
