Oracle Payroll Subject Matter Expert. Cedar are proud to be supporting a reputable and leading research organisation through a significant transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Oracle Payroll Specialist to join on a 6 Month FTC. The role is hybrid working in London, with expectation to be on site more when delivering workshops. The salary on offer is £51,000-£55,000 per annum. This role will play a key part in supporting the implementation of a new Oracle system, with a particular focus on running payroll processes. The successful candidate will support with ensuring a BAU payroll cycle whilst supporting with the design, testing and training of the new system. Key responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and delivery of payroll processes for the ERP system implementation. Act as a subject matter expert on payroll-related requirements, compliance, and reporting. Collaborate with Finance, HR, Programme, and third-party implementation teams to ensure successful delivery. Support the BAU payroll process to ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll. Develop documentation, testing scripts, and training materials to support transition and go-live. About you: Strong technical payroll knowledge, ideally with experience in ERP/HRIS/Finance system implementations. Experience of using an Oracle based system. Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA) or payroll qualification is essential. Proven experience working on payroll transformation or system change projects. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced change environment.
